A flower waits for nearly 12 months to bloom.

It goes through the heat of late summer,

loneliness of fall,

harshness of winter,

and still yet has another progress to become full.

While the flower is getting ready for its bloom,

It does not think of its fall that will come soon.

It thinks of a summer’s bright full moon,

hearty baby animals walking around making a boom,

and the rain that will wash it during the monsoon.

When the flower falls, it does not look at the ground.

It tries its best to look above.

With a wrinkled smile,

It spends its last seconds looking at the light.
